Hi, I’m Helen! I trained in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University and have been lucky enough to spend over 20 years working in all kinds of settings — from helping professional athletes, to supporting everyday people through the NHS, private hospitals, and my own busy clinic, Pain Free Start - which I opened back in 2009.

What really drives me is making a real difference — helping people ease their pain and get back to feeling good, as quickly as possible. I’m always learning and growing alongside some brilliant medical colleagues, so I can bring you the latest, most effective ways to heal and recover.

Now, I’m excited to bring that same hands-on knowledge online with courses like the 7-Day Flare-Up Rescue Plan — designed to give you clear, practical steps to tackle pain flare-ups head-on. I’ve put my heart into this course because I want you to feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
